Robert J. Brilliant

Brilliant Title was formed in 1991 by attorney Rob Brilliant in Annapolis Maryland. In 1994, Brilliant Title expanded to its second location on Kent Island. Rob was born and raised in Annapolis and graduated from Annapolis High School. He is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Law and is a member of the Louisiana and Maryland Bars. Since graduation from law school, Rob has only practiced the areas of real estate, commercial transactions and business law. He represents both lenders and borrowers. There is no aspect of a real estate transaction with which Rob does not have firsthand experience. Rob also represents many small businesses in areas such as entity formation, business asset acquisition and lease or contract negotiation.

Rex S. Caldwell, III

Also a lifelong Annapolitan, Rex serves as general counsel to Brilliant Title and also maintains his own general civil and criminal law practice. Rex gained experience as counsel to Homeowners Title, the title company subsidiary of Severn Savings Bank, before establishing his own law practice 11 years ago. Rex graduated from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law and is also serves as member of the City of Annapolis's Ethics Board.

Gerri Councill

Gerri is the Office Manager of the Kent Island office of Brilliant Title. She is a licensed settlement officer with years of experience handling residential real estate settlements and loan closings. She has been with Brilliant Title for 14 years and gained experience in real estate settlement procedures prior to joining Brilliant Title. As many real estate agents, loan officers and clients will attest, Gerri excels at customer service. Kelly Rhue

Kelly has been employed by Brilliant Title as the Office Manager of the Brilliant Title location in Annapolis for 15 years.
